“When you seek truth, you seek God whether you know it or not.”
St. Augustine

MARCH
We are thrilled to finally Spring into STEM! March is an extremely busy month as we begin the season of Lent on March 5th, our clocks spring ahead one hour on March 9th; we celebrate the math constant Pi on March 14th, recognize the Patron Saint of Engineers, St. Patrick on March 17th, recognize St. Joseph on March 19th, prepare for the Spring Equinox on March 20th, and finally we round out the month with The Annunciation of the Lord! We are bouncing with excitement and can't wait to get started. Have a blessed month!
“Some seek knowledge for the sake of knowledge: that is curiosity.
Others seek knowledge that they themselves be known: that is vanity.
But there are still others who seek knowledge in order to serve and edify others, and that is charity.”
--- St. Bernard of Clairvaux

SCIENCE
Constant
In science, a constant is a fixed, unchanging value or quantity that remains the same under specific conditions for a particular experiment or scenario.

TECHNOLOGY
Algorithm
A set of rules, guidelines, or formulas that describes how to solve a problem, perform a task, or provide answers to a question. Example: BODMAS (Brackets, Orders, Division, Multiplication, Addition, Subtraction) is an algorithm for solving Math Problems.
ENGINEERING
A ratio says how much of one thing there is compared to another thing. A ratio can be written in four different ways. For example, if you had 3 Blue Crayons and 1 Yellow Crayon you would write the ratio as follows:
3:1
3 to 1
3/1
3 ÷ 1
MATH
Circumference
The distance once around a circle.
